Bear Heaven

16 x 20 Oil on Canvas by Joey Nash. One Autumn I went for a drive & saw a cub who had been hit by a car lying beside the road. He (or she) had his paw over his eyes. That gesture & the bottoms of his feet haunted me, until one day I found the perfect landscape for my Bear to wake up & uncover his eyes in.
