Finding My Skin

I am IN LOVE with this piece & trying to say that in a title is proving impossible so,This was inspired by a surprise encounter that I had as a girl, while up to my neck in the ocean - I've always regretted the scream that shattered that powerful moment and now, I feel like I've clawed it back. In researching this wonderful creature as a Totem & Power Animal, I have become confidant that this is mine so, what a gift to discover - and yes, it's found in BC's Ocean, not Lakes! LOL 22 1/2" x 10" x 3 1/2" SOLD - But, postscript - This wood was cleaved from a full round into 2 halves & for the first time, I felt compelled to create 2 pieces, because I loved the subject SOOO much so, the mirror image of this piece is available for sale!
